DC/Marvel Universe Miniature Game: Battle Report from Germany.

Hello everyone, today we bring another battle report from Germany. Yves and Fracois played a custom scenario where the Injustice League had to defeate Galactus and Silver Surfer. Was the earth saved? Let´s see.

Battle Report – Marvel Galactus vs. DC Injustice League

Team 1 – Francois – Injustice League

 

Harley Quinn, Lexcorp Heavy Trooper, Poison Ivy, Deathstroke, Lex Luthor, Sinestro, Killer Croc.

Team 2 – Yves – Galactus

Mission

Individual Scenario – Destroy four tentacles to rescue the world

Four tentacles drilled into earth. Each has 25 Life points, defences of 15 and Immunity to Mental Attacks. Deployment zone is 6 inch from the edge.

Deployment

Harley, Lex Luthor and the Heavy Trooper are deployed together on the left side. The right side is covered by Poison Ivy and Sinestro.

 

Killer Croc was placed as Infiltrator close to the left tentacle.

Deathstroke started also as infiltrator at the right tentacle.

Galactus and Silver Surfer started close to each other in the middle of the deployment zone.

Let the game begin

Galactus skipped the first activation, so the Heavy Trooper started to fire at the first tentacle and hit it heavily.

Now it was time for Galactus to act. Together with Silver Surfer he teleported right close to the deployment zone of the Injustice League. He surprised the Heavy Trooper who got hit by a heavy beam.

While Galactus was busy, Harley Quinn took the chance; she dashed together with Lou and Bud towards the first tentacle and smashed it heavily.

After the attack to his Trooper, Lex Luthor went towards Galactus, used his Absolute Power and stole two of his power points.

 

After this affront, Galactus sent his Herold to take care about that nuisance. So Silver Surfer flew to Lex Luthor, grabbed him by his collar and threw him straight at his Trooper. Since the Trooper did not expect that, he was not ready to evade and was hit by his boss. Both went knocked down.

During his second activation, Galactus fired his beam and hit both, Lex Luthor and his Trooper. After that, Lex was incapacitated and the Trooper heavily wounded.

With a series of sword attacks, Deathstroke finished the first tentacle.

 

In the meantime Killer Croc, Poison Ivy and Sinestro attacked the second tentacle with a series of powerful attacks. At the end only 6 life points were left.

The second round started with a surprise attack of Poison Ivy. One of her plants was placed close to Galactus and strangled him with a large climbing plant. So Galactus could not move this round and Poison Ivy tried to hide.

Really angry, Galactus incapacitated the wounded Trooper and transferred Power to Silver Surfer that he can hunt down Poison Ivy.

 

While Galactus was immobilized, Harley Quinn and Deathstroke went straight to the third tentacle and started their attacks.

Although Poison Ivy tried to hide, there was no escape from Silver Surfer. Infused by the power of Galactus, he sent two devastating beams to Poison Ivy she could not resist. She went straight KO.

 

After Killer Croc finished the second tentacle, he disappeared in the sewer system. This short breather was used by Sinestro to help Poison Ivy. He grabbed Silver Surfer and threw him off his board.

Silver Surfer was separated from his board (Cross Marker shows the position of the board)

Still unable to move, Galactus decided to throw an ambulance towards Deathstroke and Harley Quinn to stop them.

Harley Quinn was just laughing and jumped easily out of the way. Deathstroke remained ice-cold, knowing that he would not be hit.

Since Silver Surfer was still knocked down, Galactus had to take care of this disturbance himself again. Freed from the plants, he flew to Sinestro, grabbed him and threw him straight to Poison Ivy.

 

Poison Ivy was incapacitated and Sinestro was knocked down.

But Sinestro was not yet finished. He came back, grabbed Silver Surfer again and threw him even further away from his board.

But Silver Surfer could not be stopped either. With his last power he crawled back to board and climbed up.

 

Unimpressed by all these incidents, Harley Quinn and Deathstroke kept attacking the third tentacle.

Also unnoticed from everybody, Killer Croc came back from the sewers and attacked the fourth tentacle.

 

To protect the fourth tentacle and to stop Sinestro and Killer Crock, Silver Surfer launched his perimeter attack, well knowing he would also hit his Master.

 

As result Sinestro was incapacitated and Killer Croc slightly wounded. Galactus barely recognised it.

Meanwhile the third tentacle was destroyed.....

 

....and Harley Quinn started to attack Galactus.

Because Lou and Bud disturbed the attack of Galactus, he decided to grab a metal fence, to pin Killer Croc down. So Galactus saved power for his second activation.

Not really impressed, Killer Croc got rid of the fence and attacked the last tentacle again. But his attacks have largely missed the tentacle.

To get rid of Lou and Bud, Galactus flew away, turned around and fired a heavy beam towards Harley Quinn. As strong as the beam was, it also missed.

 

Laughing, she came back and gave the last tentacle a heavy blow.

Her laughing stopped, when Silver Surfer looked at her and launched enormous beams. Harley was incapacitated within a blink.

With all this was going on, Deathstroke sneaked through the big warehouse unnoticed.

 

Since no one was expecting him, he took the opportunity and attacked the last tentacle. Only 9 life point were left at the tentacle at the end of round five.

Realising the danger of imminent defeat, Silver Surfer flew to Deathstroke, grabbed him and threw him away from the tentacle.

 

In addition Silver Surfer fired a beam at Deathstroke and hit him.

But Deathstroke, protected by his Soul Armour, did not care. He run back and hit the tentacle again with his sword.

 

Only three life points were left and it was already in the middle of the last round. Now everything was in the claws of Killer Croc. Unfortunately, Galactus activated at first and the only chance for Galactus to protect the last tentacle was to get rid of Killer Croc. So he teleported close to Killer Croc, grabbed him and threw him away as far as possible.

Killer Croc was dazed but did not give up. He walked, crawled and pounced back, but he was too exhausting, that all his power was gone and he could not attack anymore.

 

Final result

One tentacle was left with three life points after six rounds of playing. Galactus won and destroyed Earth. 

An impressive battle report as usual. I am very glad to see people playing this game and it is an honor when they use the cards created in this blog.
